Gamescom features live presentations, game demos, conferences, and networking opportunities for industry professionals. There are also activities and events for fans, including competitions, panel discussions, and exhibition areas where attendees can try out the latest games before their official release.
This year, 63 Spanish companies will be attending under the "Games from Spain" brand, with booths in both the Business Zone and the Indie Hall:
- Business Zone (Hall 4.1, Stand C041): Open from Wednesday to Friday, this area is dedicated to participating countries and their respective companies, including some startups. On Wednesday, there will be an opening party in collaboration with Spielfabrique. On Thursday (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM), a cocktail event will be held in the common area, organized by Games from Spain. Companies will receive several invitations to attend.
- Indie Zone (Hall): Open to the press on Wednesday and Thursday for companies, and to the public from Friday to Sunday. This area will feature various game exhibition zones and a stage for competitions, demos, and talks.
- Entertainment Pavilion (OWO): An exclusive area for OWO, dedicated to their haptic jackets.
