Spain at Cartoon Forum 2025 Seven outstanding Spanish animation projects were pitched to an international audience, showcasing the creativity, talent, and innovation of the Spanish animation industry. On September 17, we're thrilled to present the official reel featuring these remarkable projects, produced by top Spanish studios with the support of ICEX and Animation from Spain.

This year at Gamescom 2025, from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Games From Spain, an ICEX initiative dedicated to promoting Spanish video games on the global stage, will showcase the talent, creativity, and passion that define the Spanish video game industry, across both the public and business zones.  

Gamescom Latam is the Latin American edition of gamescom, the world’s most important video game event, whose main venue is in Cologne, Germany. The Latin American edition will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, from June 26 to 30, 2025, bringing together key players from the video game industry across Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

Between March 17 and 21, 2025, the Game Developers Conference will take place in San Francisco, one of the leading events for the global video game industry. As part of its strategy to boost the internationalization of the Spanish audiovisual sector, specifically the video game industry, ICEX Spain Export and Investments, through its brand Games from Spain, has organized a Spanish delegation of industry companies, bringing together over 70 professionals and a total of 33 Spanish companies. The Spanish delegation is further strengthened by the presence of key official institutions and regional representatives such as Madrid in Game, Canary Islands Games, IVACE, and Valencia Game City.

The report has been produced thanks to the information provided by the Spanish video game development studios via an exhaustive survey conducted annually by DEV, in collaboration with DeviCat.

ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, under Games from Spain, organizes a Spain Pavilion at the Game Developers Conference taking place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco from March 20 to 24. Games from Spain organizes the presence of Spanish video game studios that want to start or consolidate their presence in the international video game market. On this occasion, in addition to the Games from Spain Pavilion, ICEX also organizes a pitch session for 8 videogame projects in collaboration with MeetToMatch. The session will take place on March 21 and the selected studios will present their project to an audience of publishers and investors international.
