Three musicians travel all along the country to find endangered traditional songs. Their intention is to discover and increase awareness of the origin and the history concealed behind those songs, and subsequently, recording a professional cover of the song itself with the help of the best voices in town.
The three hosts are the same during the whole series, and in each episode they visit a different town or valley. Throughout the journey, they will get to know the different parts of the song, the lyrics´ variations –according to the people they talk to–, and moreover, they will find out the history and the places that lie beyond the composition.
Somehow, the rescued song is a vehicle to tell many other stories, to meet personalities from the chosen town, to enjoy the particular features of the area, and finally, to gather everyone to record a cover of the re-born song.
Our goal at MIPTV is to present and sell the format.
