Wild Flower’ is a poetic essay about control, the unwanted, life and its contradictions. Taking as its starting point the question of how to deal with the unexpected lives that appear on the ground, this short film takes the form of a question and seeks to explore the various possibilities of interaction between human beings and the uncontrollable side of nature.

Yoli and Jacki have been working as carers for approximately 4 years and are still waiting to regularise their immigration status. Cecilia has been working as a caregiver for 26 years and shares her anecdotes from the point of view. Her memories and anecdotes are a mix of cultural differences that mostly end in laughter. Reflections on old age, because this work involves seeing how the person you care for is deteriorating and when death arrives there is also an invisible mourning that besides affecting psychologically, also means being left without a job, without money and without a guarantee. All these stories are connected through a network of support and work that Cecilia began to build when she arrived in Spain and that more women in similar situations have continued to extend.
