The fight between hunters and hunted, is the most dramatic event in nature. For both, this fight means life or death. This close relationship is inevitable, and they both need each other to exist and thrive. Hunters and prey evolve together and have their own strategies for hunting and not being hunted. But even for the most efficient, success is never guaranteed. From Wild cats to Eagle owls, from Bats to Goshawks, in this film we will discover the hunting strategies of some of the most iconic European predators and their relationships with their target preys.

We aim to introduce ‘MEDITERRANEAN HUNTERS II’ to global channels and platforms, and make it reach audiences around the world.

This series will show us the influence of this essential liquid and how the seasonal whims and transformations of water in its liquid, solid, and gaseous states affect animal behavior differently on each continent, including the plains, forests, and deserts of Africa or North America, the jungles of Australia, South America, and Asia.

Main theme of this documentary is the passage of time and the abrupt changes in daily life that technology has brought in the last 100 years. Characters (five Ibero-American grandmothers from Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia and Spain) narrate the relationship between daily life and the arrival of a world of increasingly accelerated changes. Their stories on how their lives have undergone a total turnaround since they were born more than 70 years ago, are universal.

Through moving testimonies and captivating archive footage, the film illustrates the attraction that the place had for famous actors, writers, musicians, and filmmakers from all over the world who were fascinated by its gypsy inhabitants and their efforts to preserve their traditions and culture heritage through the almost forgotten flamenco spectacle of Zambra, a vital representation of the gypsy wedding ritual.
