The Mexico–Spain Audiovisual Conference: Building Creative Bridges serves as a strategic platform to foster creative and commercial partnerships that strengthen the joint audiovisual potential of both countries. Its aim is to forge strong connections between key players in both industries, highlight their creative richness, and promote the development of Spanish–Mexican co-productions with international reach.

Spain boasts one of the most dynamic audiovisual industries in Europe. Mexico, in turn, is one of the most significant audiovisual markets in the world. With a solid network of production, distribution, and exhibition, as well as a robust infrastructure of movie theaters and digital platforms, the country represents a key hub for the sector’s growth. Mexico City, in particular, has established itself as a major center for production and operations in Latin America.
These sessions are designed to foster long-term cultural and economic exchange between both industries.

The conference is organized by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, through Audiovisual from Spain, with the support of the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE) and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), in collaboration with the Spanish Cultural Center in Mexico and FIASCO.
