Fundada en 2013, 4 CATS Pictures S.L comienza su andadura con “ATRAPA LA BANDERA” de Enrique Gato (2015), su primer largometraje de animación coproducido junto a Telecinco Cinema, Telefónica Studios, Ikiru Films y Lightbox Entertaiment. Fue la tercera película más taquillera del año en España y se alzó con importantes premios como el Goya 2016 a la Mejor Película de Animación, el Premio Gaudí 2016 a la Mejor Película de Animación y el Premio Platino 2016 a Mejor Película de Animación. Su segunda producción, de nuevo junto a Telecinco Cinema, Telefónica Studios, Ikiru Films y Lightbox Entertaiment,  fue “TADEO JONES 2. EL SECRETO DEL REY MIDAS”, la película más taquillera del año en España. Entre otros premios fue galardonada con el Goya 2018 a la Mejor Película de Animación, el Premio Gaudí 2018 a la Mejor Película de Animación y el Premio Platino 2018 a la Mejor Película de Animación.
