Salvador Sunyer (1987) graduated from ESCAC (Catalan School of Cinema). Bugarach (2014), his first feature documentary, won the FIPRESCI award at St. Petersburg festival and competed at Hot Docs, Prix Europa or IDFA. His desire to combine performing and cinematographic arts has led him to work with artists such as Álex Rigola (former Director of the Venice Biennale) or the playwright Sergio Blanco. The Missing Part, together with Baro d’evel Cirk cie, is the first film within The One Project, the biannual project he created in 2015. It was selected at Paris Courts Devant and won first prize at Choreoscope festival. In 2022 he released the autofictional short film Androgenic alopecia, which talks about family legacy while serving as an ironic reflection on artistic creation. He is currently developing a TV series created together with Isaki Lacuesta. Basarda is his debut fiction film.
