Jaume Claret Muxart (1998) is a Catalan filmmaker. A graduate of the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola, he premiered his first short film Ella i jo (2020) at the San Sebastian Film Festival and at IFFR. His films have been presented at festivals such as DocumentaMadrid, IndieLisboa and FICUNAM, among others. His first feature film in development Strange River (Estrany Riu) has received the generous support of ICEC and TV3 television of Catalonia, and was selected for participation in the residency Ikusmira Berriak (2022) and in the Residence of the Academy of Catalan Cinema. Alongside this he is part of the A Bao A Qu collective, the studio Arquitectura Filmada and he is an associate lecturer in the Master's programme at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the CCCB in Barcelona.
