Emilia Fort is Avalon’s executive producer. Based in Madrid, Avalon is an independent company dedicated to producing and distributing arthouse cinema since 1996. Avalon’s productions have competed in festivals like Cannes, Berlinale, San Sebastian or Rotterdam and have built strong ties with young talent by producing films for the international market. In 2019, Emilia joined Avalon on Alcarràs, the 2022 Golden Bear Winner by Carla Simón, and later on Matria by Álvaro Gago (Panorama 2023) and Creatura by Elena Martín (Best European Film at Cannes’ Quinzaine 2023). She is currently producing Fed Up by Júlia de Paz (Berlinale Script Station 2022), which is in postproduction, and Ivan & Hadoum by Ian de la Rosa (Berlinale Coproduction Market Eurimages Award 2023), scheduled to be shot in 2025, among many other films and TV projects.
