Director and editor Carlota Oms was born in Barcelona in 1995 and has been fascinated by movie making-ofs since a young age. She specialized in editing at ESCAC, but her ultimate goal was to direct. Fortunately, she was able to direct one of the final projects, which she co-wrote with Joan Pàmies. Carlota's first short film, Adalamadrina, was a hit, being selected at the Sundance Film Festival and winning at Kortfilmfestivalen and Milano Film Festival among others. Although currently working as an editor in advertising, she is dedicated to creating personal projects such as animation, fashion films, documentaries, and music videos.
