From Bastian Films, Arturo Méndiz has produced several documentaries for television and cinema such as the recent A Shooting Star (2024) co-produced with Mexico
and premiered at Docs Barcelona, and Wild Gleaming Space (2024) co-produced with Panama and premiered at Hot Docs. In fiction, he has produced 14 short films with more than 300 international awards including an Oscar Nomination and a Palme d’Or in Cannes for Timecode (2016), and also 3 Goya Awards.
