Description

In just over 10 years, Portocabo has positioned itself as a leading production company in major national and European markets, establishing a network of alliances to produce fiction and opening Spain to international co-production. Leading the company, Alfonso Blanco is now one of the most important executive producers and showrunners in the country.

Among its projects are notable crime drama series such as the two seasons of 'Rapa' (produced for MOVISTAR Plus+), two seasons of 'Hierro' (a co-production with MOVISTAR Plus+, ARTE France, and Atlantique Productions), the two seasons of 'Auga Seca' (co-produced with CRTVG, RTP, and SP-i), 'Honor' (Atresmedia), and 'Los Enviados' (Paramount+). The film 'Cuñados' and the kids' live-action series 'Los Argonautas y la moneda de oro' (co-produced with CLAN/RTVE) also stand out.

In 2024, Portocabo received the Galician Culture Award in the Audiovisual category, as well as a Corporate Livewire Global Award for Best Audiovisual Producer.
