AGADIC
Description
Galicia, a region located in the northwest of Spain, has a population of 2.7 million and an autonomous government, Xunta de Galicia, with specific powers in the audiovisual sector.
Xunta de Galicia has an annual economic program to support the development, production and co-production of audiovisual projects in different formats. In addition, it has a competitive system of incentives for production and audiovisual services for projects that are shot in Galicia.
Thanks to its magnificent landscape and the competence of its professionals, Galicia is the setting chosen for major international co-productions and great successes in Spanish cinema. Besides, we boast successful content promoted by television channels and international platforms, with excellent results in both fiction and documentary genres.
Galicia is in a very favorable position to receive future investments and consolidate itself as a benchmark in the Spanish and European audiovisual sector. This is due not only to the existing industrial sector, but also to the talent of producers, creators, technicians and actors. But our heritage does not end there: we have unique and impressive landscapes, from mountains and rivers to hundreds of kilometers of coastline, and exceptional cultural and architectural wealth. All this drives us to look for new opportunities and challenges around the world, new screens for our productions and the opportunity to open up and discover new ways of filming.
