Ana, an unexceptional 13-year-old, auditions for the popular talent show "Fama y Gloria". Lacking talent and personality, Ana goes unnoticed during the casting until she fabricates her father's terminal illness. Her family discovers the lie, yet instead of discouraging her, they assist her as the deception becomes more complicated.

After being one of the most important Lazarettos in Spain, the island of San Simon had remained deserted until Franco's dictatorship decided to make use of it. Turned into a deadly concentration camp, the prisoners were victims of brutal repression in the midst of overwhelming beauty.

Javi will enter into a new wild and surreal environment, where he has to search for the balance between ambition, reality and desire.
