Co-production meeting with Canada and first breakfast for buyers
Spain & Canada: focus on Coproduction: after last year's positive experience, Audiovisual from Spain is once again co-hosting a meeting on the morning of Monday 16 with the Telefilm Canada representatives. This is a bilateral pitch for projects of any genre seeking international co-production partners. Participating producers will be able to meet with representatives of the opposing country in a series of pre-scheduled meetings based on the interests expressed by the companies themselves during the registration process. In preparation for the activity, a training webinar was held to explain first-hand the options, challenges, and advantages of co-production between the two countries.
Spain Brand New Content - Breakfast: the first edition of this invitation-only sales meeting designed specifically for international buyers interested in learning about new Spanish content releases that have just been launched on the market will be held on Tuesday 17.
The following day will feature The Audiovisual from Spain Networking Lunch, a networking lunch meeting on the terrace of the Seaview Producers Hub where partners and clients of Spanish companies are invited to learn about the most recent highlights of outstanding productions.
Professionals and Spanish content will fill the event's agenda
The world premiere of one of the most eagerly awaited Spanish fictions will take center stage on the eve of the market's opening: the first episode of the series 'Zorro', produced by Secuoya Studios, will be screened on Sunday afternoon accompanied by the main cast, including lead actor Miguel Bernardeu. For its part, Movistar Plus+ International will offer a screening of the first episode of its new series 'La Mesías', created, produced, and directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo (Los Javis).
Spanish content also boasts international recognition through the numerous nominations of various Spanish productions in the Diversify TV Awards and Content Innovation Awards, with awards ceremonies to be held during the market days.
Spanish talent and production companies will once again feature prominently in the official conference program: Sara Fernández-Velasco, CEO of iZen (which announced last January the joint venture Cacao & Cía. with Non Stop), will share her vision of the close ties shared by the European and American continents; Plano a Plano, represented by its Director of Business Development Álvaro Benítez, will be one of the companies participating in a panel addressing the challenges faced by independent production companies. In addition, Laura Fernández Espeso, CEO of the audiovisual group The Mediapro Studio, will offer on Tuesday afternoon one of the prestigious keynotes of the Media Mastermind program, dedicated to the most influential voices in the industry.
