Spanish Screenings – Sevilla TV 2016 takes place from November 9th to the 11th.
The series “Isabel” (TVE / Diagonal TV) and the show “Tu cara me suena” (Antena 3 / Gestmusic Endemol) have got the FAPAE Awards 2016 for te Spanish series and format with highest international impact, respectively.

More than 70 national and international buyers from over 30 countries participate in this platform to promote TV contents produced exclusively by Spanish production companies, at an international level.

 Among the international buyers we can highlight M6 (France), RadioTelevisao from Portugal RTP, Mediaset Group (Italy), New Wave Films (United Kingdom), Skyline IFE LTD (United Kingdom), Sky (Italy), Croatian Television – HRT, MTVA (Hungary), Czech Television, Bulgarian National Television, Kanal 2 (Estonia), LNK (Lithuania), Cinema TV (Bosnia), Netflix, Discovery Networks Latin America / USA Hispanic, TLN Telelatino Network (Canada), Globosat (Brazil), INCAA TV (Argentina), Turner Broadcasting & Cartoon Network Latin America (Argentina), Fardous TV (United Arab Emirates) and Cineplex Development (Taiwan).

 Hotel Hesperia Seville is hosting the commercial meetings in the Sales Office and is the access point for the online Video Library, a novelty in this market, through which they can watch more than 120 titles. Cinesur Nervion is projecting exclusive screenings from approximately 25 audiovisual productions, between premieres and catalogues that come to this edition from Atresmedia, RTVE and Canal Sur.

 Distributors such as Imira Entertainment, Imagina International Sales, Flimax International, Secuoya Content Distribution, and Motion Pictures to name a few, are attending the first Television Spanish Screenings celebrated by FAPAE as exhibitors, along with more than 100 participating companies.

 Moreover, during the three days of the event there are taking place several round tables to tackle the most current issues that affect the audiovisual sector, such as synergies between film and television, television coproduction’s in Europe, TV programming grants from Europe Creative Media, distributions strategies for independent films, etc.

 FAPAE has promoted this event to encourage the sale and promotion of our audiovisual industry’s production; in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Seville City Council, through the Seville European Film Festival and with the support of EXTENDA, Canal Sur, Cluster A, the Andalusian Culture Industry, Europe MEDIA desk – Andalusia, AEPAA-APRIA, PATE and EGEDA.
